About

I have been in the video game industry for over 15 years, and began as an Esports competitor in 2002. As a professional player, panelist, and tournament organizer, in 2007 I was ranked top female player in Super Smash Bros. Melee, and in 2008, the  top doubles team in the country in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

In 2007, I founded the Southern California Brawl power rankings and panel, and was an active panelist through 2010. I was the founder of the Southern California Smash Alliance (SCSA), which hosted the first West Coast Brawl Regional Tournament Series, gaining over 200 participants from all across the country.

My work in the video game industry includes overseeing live operations and production on a number of titles of all genres, as well as contribution to the design and development of leading industry tools, applications, and platform solutions.

I have led projects, teams, departments, as well as a company branch, and have helped companies improve structure, organization, and inherit agile methodologies. I have also provided consultation to a number of industry leading companies on approaches to community management.

I have managed support, community, AV, QA, production, and live operations teams in game development, publishing, BaaS, and digital distribution.

I am passionate about building quality teams in order to build quality products, and have had the opportunity to manage over 250 employees in the industry as well as work on a number of exciting titles, and help spread knowledge through company-wide seminars.

In addition to gaming, I’m an active music composer and performer, and have worked as a sound and light designer and technician for community theaters all across Southern California. I play piano, french horn, marching french horn, mellophone, trumpet, fluegel horn, baritone, euphonium, synthesizer, guitar, and ukelele.
